leaguify FAQ: straight answers for team managers
What happens to your families’ information, whether there are ads, what renews and what does not, and how to hand the team on at the end of the season.
Privacy and ads
Does leaguify sell my data?
No. We never sell, rent or trade your information, and we never share it with anyone for their own purposes — not advertisers, not data brokers, not other teams. The only outside companies that handle it are the providers that run the service for us, such as hosting, email delivery and Stripe for payments, and they may use it for nothing else. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
Are there ads in the app?
No. There are no ads anywhere in leaguify — not on the team page parents open, not in the staff portal, and not in the emails we send. We do not run advertising trackers, analytics scripts or third-party pixels either, so nothing on a team page reports your family’s visits to an ad network. The team pays for leaguify, and that is the whole business model.
Is our roster visible to the public?
By default a youth-safe version is: first names, last initials, jersey numbers and positions — never a full surname, a birth date or an email address. Turn on the access gate and the schedule, roster, travel and contacts are shown only to families you approve, and the page is kept out of search engines. Completed forms always go to private storage that only your coaching staff can open.
Paying, renewing and canceling
What does leaguify cost?
$68 for a season pass — one payment that covers twelve months and never renews by itself — or $12 a month, with the first 30 days free. Either way the price is per team, not per player: every parent, player and coach is included. Each extra team in the same club is $55 a season or $9 a month.
Does the season pass auto-renew?
No. The season pass is one payment of $68 that covers twelve months, and nothing is charged again unless someone chooses to pay. No card stays on file. Before it ends we email reminders 30, 7 and 1 day ahead, each with a renewal link anyone can pay without signing in. Only the monthly plan renews by itself, and you can cancel that any time.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, on the monthly plan. The club admin cancels from Billing in the staff portal, and the team keeps everything through the end of the month already paid for — nothing further is charged. Cancel during the 30-day free trial and you pay nothing at all. The season pass has nothing to cancel: it is a single payment that simply ends after twelve months unless someone renews it.
What happens to our data if we stop using leaguify?
You can take it with you, and then we delete it. If you cancel or let a season pass run out, we keep the team’s data for up to twelve months so the team can pick back up next season, then delete it. Ask sooner and we will delete it sooner, or send you a copy first. Backups age out shortly after. Only records tax law requires, such as invoices, are kept longer.
Running the team
Can I transfer the team to next season's manager?
Yes. Invite next season’s manager from Access in the staff portal; they can run everything the team publishes, and the outgoing manager’s access can be removed when they step back. On the season pass, forward them the renewal email — its pay link works without an account and keeps no card on file. A monthly plan keeps charging the card on file until it is canceled, which is the problem the season pass was built to avoid.
Do parents need to download anything from an app store?
No. The team page opens in any phone browser from a link, and parents can add it to their home screen straight from that page — no app store and nothing to download. Once added, it opens full screen with its own icon, in the team’s colors. Families who want games in their own calendar can subscribe to the team’s schedule from the same page.
How many parents and players can we add?
As many as the team has. There is no per-player or per-parent charge and no cap on parents, players or coaches — one price covers the whole team. Import the roster from a spreadsheet and any parent email columns in it can fill in the approved contact list at the same time. The one limit is 1 GB of private document storage per club.
